About

Bowen Gao is a core member of AIPher, incubated by the Tsinghua AIR group of Yanyan Lan and Ya-Qin Zhang, and was co-first author of the DrugCLIP paper in Science. He is a computer science PhD student at Tsinghua, after two years as a research engineer at Tsinghua AIR and a year as a machine learning engineer on recommendation and ads models at ByteDance. He holds a bachelor's in computer science from the University of Toronto and a master's in electrical engineering from Caltech.
