Jason Ma is a co-founder of Dyna Robotics and leads its research; the company builds general-purpose AI robots and robotic foundation models. Dyna was founded by Lindon Gao and York Yang, who earlier sold Caper AI, together with Ma, and announced a $120 million Series A in September 2025. Before Dyna he was a researcher at Google DeepMind, NVIDIA and Meta AI. He did his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania on large-scale reinforcement learning for robot learning, was lead author of Eureka, and studied computer science and mathematics at Harvard.
