Jean-Philippe Vert is co-founder and CEO of Bioptimus, which builds foundation models for biology. He was previously Chief R&D Officer at Owkin and a Research Lead at Google Brain, and held academic posts at ENS Paris, the Curie Institute and Mines ParisTech. He graduated from École Polytechnique and the Corps des Mines and holds a PhD in mathematics from Paris University.
