Robin Li co-founded Baidu, has chaired its board since 2000 and has been its CEO since 2004. In 2020 he and Wei Liu founded BioMap with personal funds, and he is BioMap's chairman. He holds a bachelor's in information management from Peking University and a master's in computer science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
