Aureka opens up its agentic antibody-design harness, and 38 of 80 designs from it bound their target in the company's own lab

What is released is the loop, not a model: the gates deciding which part of the target a design must touch, the candidate population and each cycle's written reflection are all in the open repository, so another group can run the same search policy on its own targets. The hit rates come with the molecular format each design was made in, which is what someone reusing it must plan around: against CXCR4, 6 of 20 single-domain designs bound and 4 of 20 full antibodies. Representative affinities are 540 pM for RAGE and 4.5 nM for a CXCR4 single-domain binder.

Closed in tranches: Granite Asia alone funded the first (as sole investor, not called lead). The company's Chinese release names Qiming among existing investors; the English version (Pulse 2.0) lists MPCi and NRL Capital and leaves Qiming out. Total raised nearly $200M, per the company. Level 2 · Computed

Aureka releases OpenDDE, an open co-folding model that predicts an acceptable interface for 66.4% of antibody-antigen complexes on a new test set it curated, against 51.0% for the next best model

Antibody-antigen interfaces are flexible, hard for co-folding models, and where antibody companies need them most, and the strongest reported system, Isomorphic Labs' IsoDDE, is closed. An open model close to it lets any lab run and retrain the structure step itself. It is also the model under Aureka's agentic design harness, so that harness's lab results rest on it.

Research entries are the timeline's graded entries that name this company. A level grades one claim, not the company, and a blank can mean the record has not caught up rather than that nothing was published.
