About
Alex Zhavoronkov founded Insilico Medicine in 2014 and is its CEO and chairman. Before Insilico he held senior roles at ATI Technologies, NeuroG Neuroinformatics and the Biogerontology Research Foundation, and he is an adjunct professor of AI at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. He holds two bachelor's degrees from Queen's University, a master's in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins and a PhD in physics and mathematics from Moscow State University.
