Gilles Wainrib co-founded Owkin with Thomas Clozel in 2016. Before that he taught applied computer science at École Normale Supérieure as a maître de conférences. Owkin describes him as a professor of machine learning, and an Owkin press release names him co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer.
