About
Victor Schmidt is co-founder and CTO of Entalpic, which he created in 2024 with Mathieu Galtier and Alexandre Duval. He did his PhD with Yoshua Bengio at Mila and Université de Montréal (2019-2024) on deep learning for climate change mitigation. He studied at École polytechnique and took an MSc in machine learning at University College London, and co-founded the open-source library CodeCarbon.
