Chad Edwards is co-founder and CEO of CuspAI, which he founded with Max Welling in 2024 to use AI for materials discovery. He holds a PhD in nuclear fission and computational quantum chemistry and an MBA. He was earlier a commercial leader at Cambridge Quantum, through its merger with Honeywell Quantum Solutions that formed Quantinuum, and before that worked at Google Quantum AI and BASF.
