Max Welling is co-founder and CTO of CuspAI. He holds a research chair in machine learning at the University of Amsterdam, where he co-directs the Amsterdam Machine Learning Lab, and is a Distinguished Scientist at Microsoft Research. He was earlier a VP at Qualcomm Technologies and a professor at UC Irvine, and did his PhD in theoretical high-energy physics under Gerard 't Hooft.
