About
Jeff Dean is one of four co-founders of Discovery Loop, with Sanjay Ghemawat, Quoc Le and Oriol Vinyals, a company building AI systems that automate experimental loops, starting with machine learning research. The company credits its founders' past work with systems including Google Search, MapReduce, Bigtable, Spanner, TensorFlow, TPUs and Gemini. He and Ghemawat shared the 2012 ACM Prize in Computing for their work on Internet-scale distributed systems.
