Oriol Vinyals is one of four co-founders of Discovery Loop. His NeurIPS speaker page describes him as VP of Research at Google DeepMind and co-technical lead for Gemini with Jeff Dean; he joined Google Brain in 2013, moved to DeepMind in 2016, led the AlphaStar project and contributed to AlphaFold. He holds a PhD in EECS from UC Berkeley.
