    Level 2 · Computed

Isomorphic Labs' technical report says its drug design engine IsoDDE doubles AlphaFold 3 on the hardest unseen protein-ligand cases, scored by Isomorphic itself and with the method undisclosed

AlphaFold-style models mostly fail on pockets and antibodies unlike what they were trained on, and that is where new drugs are. This report says Isomorphic has closed much of that gap, and the engine is part of what its $2.1B Series B pays for. But every number is computed and scored by Isomorphic itself, the method is withheld, and no outside team can check it. No molecule designed with it has public results.

AlphaFold 3 predicts interactions across biomolecules

Structure prediction moves closer to the interaction problems central to drug discovery, while restricted access triggers an openness dispute.

Research entries are the timeline's graded entries that name this company. A level grades one claim, not the company, and a blank can mean the record has not caught up rather than that nothing was published.
