Cradle's CRADLE-1 preprint claims protein lead optimisation 4-7 times faster than rational design, counted in wet-lab rounds
Optimising a protein someone already has is what most lab work actually is, and the claim is counted in rounds of experiments rather than scores. What the 4-7 times is measured against is not in the abstract, and the campaigns behind it are the company's own work with its customers.

Cradle's redesigned cetuximab fragment binds EGFR at 1.2 nM, the best of 400 designs Adaptyv Bio tested
An outside lab measured it, so the number is not Cradle's own. It improves an approved antibody rather than making a new binder: the loops that bind EGFR were kept. One design won, and Cradle says Adaptyv's computed ranking had placed its entries between 322nd and 623rd.

Research entries are the timeline's graded entries that name this company. A level grades one claim, not the company, and a blank can mean the record has not caught up rather than that nothing was published.
