Leash Bio
Also known as Leash Biosciences, Leash Laboratories
Collects its own protein-chemical binding data with DNA-encoded libraries, and trains models and agent environments on it to solve medicinal chemistry.

Leash Bio releases Minos: its pre-measured protein-binding screens as worlds where an AI agent picks molecules to test and gets the real binding result back at once
Because every molecule was measured in advance, an agent's choices cost compute rather than lab weeks, and the results of the molecules it did not pick are known too, so its decisions can be judged, not only its final answer. Leash CEO Ian Quigley's argument is that data collected this way is reusable experience, in the way game moves are for a game-playing model.

Leash Bio's Hermes, trained only on the company's own screening data, is tested on about 14 million held-out binding examples and lands close to Boltz-2 in Leash's comparison
Binding models are usually tested on molecules made by the same chemists they trained on, so a good score may be recognising their style. Leash trained on chemistry nobody else made and tested on much larger sets than usual, two of them public downloads, which makes a good score less likely to be that.

Leash Bio's BELKA competition: about 2,000 teams, 300 million training examples, and no one predicted binders in a new chemical library better than chance
It showed, before any Leash model, that a good score on one library can come from memorising building blocks, and that more data of the same kind did not carry over to a different library. Leash's later tests, a separate chemical library and protein mutants, are built on that result.

Research entries are the timeline's graded entries that name this company. A level grades one claim, not the company, and a blank can mean the record has not caught up rather than that nothing was published.
