Inceptive's fine-tuned models design CAR-T mRNAs that cleared more B cells in mice than Capstan's optimised sequence in three of five tries

In in vivo CAR-T most effort goes into the delivery particle; this tests whether redesigning the mRNA alone, with the protein unchanged, makes a stronger drug in an animal. The models also ranked the designs before the mice were dosed, and the ranking largely held, which is what would let a company test a handful of designs instead of screening thousands.

Only the year is known: pharmaphorum (Sept 2023) calls it seed funding of $20M 'last year'; a16z's Vijay Pande backed it per a later profile. No source read names the seed's investors; Andreessen Horowitz, kept here as first recorded, lists Inceptive on its own portfolio page without a round.
