Rounds and research, on one timeline

    Research

Level 4 · Tested in the physical world

Lila Sciences' AI-guided lab finds an iridium-free catalyst for green hydrogen, stable for 1,000+ hours

On replayed data, Lila's agent reached the palladium family in 11 material systems and plain active search in 10, against 18 for Bayesian optimisation and for random search; Claude Opus 4.6 choosing alone seldom reached it within 50. The agent's edge in the paper is moving the activity-stability frontier faster, not finding palladium.

    Research

Level 4 · Tested in the physical world

Lila says its platform designed an in vivo CAR-T mRNA that beat a benchmark in monkeys; its conference abstract and its blog give different figures

The two Lila sources do not agree. Time: three months in the abstract, under six in the blog. Day 14: B cells back to about 50% of baseline in the abstract, depletion maintained in the blog. Benchmark: back to baseline in the abstract, past it in the blog. Neither names the benchmark or gives animal numbers or statistics, so the claim to beat the leading therapy cannot yet be checked.

Research entries are the timeline's graded entries that name this company. A level grades one claim, not the company, and a blank can mean the record has not caught up rather than that nothing was published.
